i was in the other side of the room with my friends
you were playin in the other end
i did not notice you that time
but you said you saw me
a week after you were with a friend of mine
he introduced us
we went out and that was the start of our friendship
you ask for a tickets for a concert in our school
but i knew you only made that up to have a reason to call me up
we started talking in the phone
going out in concerts, then you finally ask me
it only took me a day to say yes
that was the start of something deep
seven years after im here typing this poem
with a small, just a small emptiness in my heart
it was almost a year since i last saw you
weve been through a lot
we shared almost a quarter of our lives together
we practically grew up together
but somehwere something went wrong
ive already moved on
i learned to let you go
and fall in love again
but youll always stay
the memories will remain
our path may not cross again
but i know what we had will never die
